KCCU has been here for you throughout this public health crisis, and now as our communities begin the process of reopening, we are ready to start the gradual reopening of our lobbies as well. We are committed to providing a safe environment for our team and our members by adhering to government requirements and best practices to minimize exposure.
Utilizing a phased approach, we began welcoming members back into our lobbies on Monday, June 8th. The first phase includes a continuation of drive-thru services, lobby teller transactions, and desk services by appointment.
To help in our transition, we will be observing the following hours:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Wednesday: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Friday: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm
- Saturday: Closed – appointment only (this is the only change to our regular hours)
- Monday – Thursday: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
- Friday: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
- Saturday: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT
While many account needs can be handled remotely, we know sometimes it’s easier to stop in and work with a KCCU Team Member in-person. The most popular reasons to schedule an appointment include:
- Apply for a Consumer or Mortgage Loan or Discuss Loan Options
- Open New or Sub Accounts
- Add Joint Owners or Beneficiaries
- Debit, Credit, or Account Fraud
- Wire Transfers & More
It’s important to note that appointments are not required to see a team member but are encouraged to reduce wait times and to protect both yourself and our team members. If you don’t have an appointment, you may be asked to wait in your vehicle until a team member is available. Occupancy limits are in effect and there is no waiting area seating available at this time.
For teller transactions, appointments are not needed. However, we ask that you use the drive-thru if you have brought others with you. See the Occupancy Limits below.
To ensure the safety of all parties, members can expect to see the following precautionary measures in place during their next visit:
Sneeze Guards – Plexiglass barriers have been installed at teller windows and at the desks.
Masks / Face Coverings – The Safeguards to Protect Michigan Workers Executive Order requires face coverings to be worn in all enclosed public spaces. You’ll notice KCCU team members wearing face coverings at all times when social distancing cannot occur.
Social Distancing – Please use the floor markings to maintain at least six feet apart from others while inside and observe directional arrows. Another member standing in the vestibule on a floor marking will be your indication to wait outside or in your vehicle until that space has cleared.
Occupancy Limits – We ask that you please limit yourself to only the person(s) necessary to perform the transaction. If you require assistance or need to have young children with you, we ask that you to use the drive-thru if you are performing a teller transaction.
While our plan includes a phased approach to eventually open our lobbies in the way you are used to, we must continue to remain diligent. We will continue to monitor all state guidelines and recommendations as we try to gradually return to “normal”.
Please continue to use our drive-thrus, ATMs, debit cards, and digital channels (online banking, mobile app, and mobile check deposit) to safely manage your money from a distance.
